Memorial Day

Okay, so I am only 5 days off here. I will chalk it up to being tied up with trying to clean up after the 100+ people swarming our yard that day!

9 years ago, we had just moved into our house, and I was due very soon with E.J. Margaret was just about to have her first birthday. We decided it was a good time to have a crowd over to celebrate. That little celebration has grown each year, kids have been added, cakes have been added, and many, many friends have been added. This past Monday, we celebrated Margaret, E,J., Charlie and Emma's birthdays with our 10th annual Memorial Day bash. As with every year... the party ended up taking a life of it's own. With memories of last year's 90 degree heat, and the die-hard soccer players running out of water, Fitz had the brilliant idea to set up a water fountain out by the soccer field. Unfortunately, there was little soccer played this year and the kids (and a few adults!) found another use for all that water. I will let pictures tell you what words could never do justice...
